Sunday 15th December 2024 – Advent 3

This Sunday is the 3rd in Advent and we will be looking at the story of John the Baptist and his challenge to the people of his day. Our Reading will be Luke 3:7-18

Our communion service is at 10.30am at St Paul’s Church.

Carol Singing at the BRI

Last year a group of us went to the BRI to sing Christmas carols to raise the spirits of those who are in hospital over Christmas time.  This year we’re doing that again on Wednesday 18th December. Meet at 5.30 by Costa Cofee to sing on the wards from 6-7pm

Churches Together New Year’s Eve – Watchnight Service
There will be a Watchnight Service at Westgate Baptist Church on New Year’s Eve – 10.30pm to 12.30am! Come along and see in the New Year with worship and prayer! You are very welcome.

Bradford Festival Choral Society Christmas concert – 14th December 2024

Braford Festival Choral Society have their Christmas Concert tomorrow.
Saturday 14 December, 6pm at Price Hall, Bradford Grammar School.
There will be brass, choir and carols to join in with.
They also offer a quiet room for anyone who may need it to escape the hustle and bustle of a busy concert venue.
They are singing a new arrangement of a traditional Syrian carol ‘Glory be to the Word’ which is for a charity raising money to support refugees – read more here: https://threepeas.org.uk/glory-be-to-the-word/
