This week we will be starting a new series called Summer Psalms’ which will focus on the book of Psalms during the summer. This Sunday we will be exploring Psalm 103
During the summer we will not have Sunday School or All Age services. In many ways all our services will be “All Age” because we’ll be together. We plan to keep them short but sweet with more time for people to enjoy the weather and time off.
Our communion service is at 10.30am at St Paul’s Church.
Our live stream of the service is here. We will start streaming at 10.25am.
If for any reason, if you are unable to attend church on Sunday, then please subscribe to our YouTube Channel and you’ll get notifications of each new video. If you aren’t subscribed and you’d like to be click here.

Giving to Church

We have noticed a sharp drop in our regular giving to the work of the church. Maybe someone has changed their bank details? Maybe some used to give but has got our of the habit? Please remember that everything we do in our Parish is funded by you!
There are many in our parish who regularly give to the church through a Direct Debit to our bank account. If you do – firstly thank you so much for your generosity! It would be a great help though if you transferred across to using the Parish Giving Scheme. Please speak to Zarine if you want to know more about it – or click the links! If you don’t get around to giving during the service you can give anytime online!
New Bishop of Leeds – Consultation
As you probably knew Bishop Nick is retiring this year. The Diocese have begun a consultation into what sort of Bishop we would like next! You can fill in the online form with your thoughts.
If you want to think about it the questions are:
- What are your three hopes for the future of the church in your community?
- What three words describe the main skills and qualities the next bishop needs to have, to help us grow in confidence as a diocese?
- What is the one thing you want to say to the next Bishop of Leeds?
Summer Bus Trip – Saturday 26th July 2025 – Bolton Abbey
This will be a church trip – with a bus taking us there and back. We will have a room to use at the Abbey and hopefully have a fun day in a beautiful place. We hope to make this affordable for everyone. Book some time to spend with your Church family!

Baptisms & Confirmations – Sunday 3rd August 2025

To celebrate this special occasion for a number of our church family, we are having a lunch together. Please be thinking what food items you would like to provide for our ‘bring and share’ event
