Welcome to the new Church year. This Sunday is the first Sunday of Advent – we will begin to prepare for Christmas in our readings, singing and preaching. On Sunday we’re having a ‘Short Service’ like we did over the Summer to have extra time afterwards to spend in fellowship – hope to see you there.
Our Scripture reading will be Hebrews 10:23

Brunch and the Chosen
On the first Saturday of every month we eat Brunch together while we watch the Chosen – next Saturday 6th December 2025 we’ll be watching a Christmas Special.
Churches Together Advent Service – Thursday 4th December 2025– 7pm
The Girlington, Heaton & Manningham Council of Churches (GHMCC) are holding their Advent Service at First Martyrs’ Church, Heights Lane, Heaton, BD9 6HZ.
