At heart I am a local girl – born in Keighley but then moved around while growing up. I have now come full circle back to the North after most recently living in London.
I trained as a youth worker and learnt my craft working on the really messy edges of life where Community and Church seem to collide.
I love the invitation to walk alongside someone and discover together what God is doing. There is nothing better than seeing the impact this has on the lives of people as they meet Jesus and have their lives turned upside down for the better.
It has taken me a while to realise and embrace the gift of not quite fitting in, so not a surprise that I feel more at home working alongside the fuzzy edges while inviting the established middle to join the party
