The Week Ahead
Mothers’ Union meets in the Village Hall
on Tuesday, 19th February at 2.30 p.m, following Holy Communion at 2 p.m.
The speaker is Roger Hallam and his talk is entitled “Laughter from
Lancashire”. Roger does not charge a fee but welcomes donations
large or small towards the work of The Yorkshire Cancer Support Group at Daisy
Hill. All welcome.
The Women’s World Day of Prayer Service
will be at 2pm on Friday 1st March at Little Lane Church followed by refreshments.
This is usually a very refreshing service, for men as well as women!
This year it is prepared by the Christian women of Slovenia.
New Wine 27 July – 3 August 2019
Many of us are booked into the first week of New Wine in Peterborough: it will be great to have a real mix of folk from churches across Girlington, Manningham, and Heaton worshipping alongside each other and getting to know each other.
It would be great to camp alongside each other and get to know each other.
