Sunday 12th June 2022 | Parish Breakfast Church – I am the Bread of Life

Looking forward to seeing you all this Sunday, this week we will be having Breakfast Church at St Paul’s church with the subject ‘I am the Bread of Life’

Reading in the book of John chapter 6 verses 22 to the end.

This is the start of a new series.  We have decided to break Breakfast Church away from what we do on other Sundays for a while.  So each Breakfast Church for the next year or so will focus on one of the famous “I am…. “ sayings of Jesus. After “Bread of Life” this week we will move on to “Light of the World” – “Good Shepherd” “Resurrection and the Life” – “Way, Truth and Life”

In the evening at 7pm we have our Prayer and Praise service at St Philip’s Church.  If you haven’t been to this service why not come along?  We sing, we pray, we spend some time quietly in God’s presence.  Hope you see you there!

Notices:

Emma – our new Curate

Please continue to pray for Emma – she is moving to Bradford very soon – for good farewells and a settled start to life in our Parish.  Her ordination is on 2nd July in Wakefield Cathedral.

Baptisms and Confirmations

We will be inviting Bishop Toby to join us in September for a confirmation service and baptisms. We know of a number in our community who would like to take this step. If you would too, please speak to Chris, Ben or Clare.

Installation of Dean Andy Bowerman

You may know that a new Dean of Bradford Cathedral is arriving in a few weeks.  The service to welcome him and ‘install’ him is Sunday 19th June | 3:30pm-5pm If you want to go to this service you will need to book your seat.
