Notices
(To get notices on this page please email notices@bradfordwest.church – we can’t promise to put all on – but will do our best!)
Bubble Church
We are starting Bubble Church next week at St Martin’s Heaton. This is a new style of service aimed at young children and their families. Please pray for this new venture and let us know if you feel you can volunteer to help with it. All the details are on our Bubble Church page. Chris and Angela were on the radio talking about it this week. You can hear it online – their bit is from 9 mins to about 45 mins.
Funerals
Two much loved members of our Parish died over Christmas, so we have two funerals this coming week. Audrey Dawson’s funeral is at St Martin’s on Tuesday 16th January at 12 noon. Val Mitchell’s funeral is at St Barnabas‘ on Friday 19th January at 1pm. Please remember their families in prayer at this sad time.
Pastoral Care
If you are in a particular need for some prayer or need a home visit. Please remember you are always welcome to contact one of the team – we also have a Parish email and mobile number to text that you can use or give to others.
Inn Churches
Many of you will know that we run Inn Churches each year in our churches where we offer beds to people who would be sleeping on the streets. We will meet at 7.30pm on Weds 17th Jan at St Paul’s to talk about how to do it well this year. Our dates are 11th – 18th March 2024
Saturday Discipleship Brunch
Thanks to all those who came. We really enjoyed our time reading the Bible together – we’re going to have another one on 3rd February at 10.30 – St Paul’s Manningham
Discipleship Groups
We want to launch some groups for people to meet and share their faith journey in different ways. If you haven’t already can you please fill in the form?
