Sunday 18th December 2022 – The Shepherds Visit – Parish Communion

This Sunday is Parish Communion with Sunday School as we draw closer to celebrating Christmas day.

This week we’ll be thinking about how the first guests to see Jesus after his birth were shepherds watching their flocks by night. Our Bible reading will be from Luke 2 another short passage full of joy!

Our 2 main ‘invitation events’ this year are

Carols by Candlelight

Saturday 17th December (Tomorrow!)– 6pm, St Martins Church 
This is a traditional service with carols and readings

Bonfire and Brass Band

Friday 23rd December – 4.30pm, St Barnabas Village Hall
This will be about an hour long – carols, hot chocolate and glow sticks etc.  For the whole community.  Please come along and bring a neighbour!
We will need quite a lot of wood for this event – if you have some that you’d like us to burn for you at no charge can you contact us?
