Sunday 12th May 2024 – Breakfast Church – The Ten Commandments

This Sunday we are starting a new Breakfast Church series on ‘The Ten Commandments’ and we will be taking a look at the first of these commandments – Love God!

Our service is at 10.30am at St Paul’s Church.  Breakfast will also be available at this service

Our reading will be from Psalm 1

The live stream of the service is here. We don’t usually do this but to welcome people to this new series we will start streaming at about  10.55am as we finish our Breakfast

Notices

(To get notices on this page please email notices@bradfordwest.church – we can’t promise to put all on – but will do our best!)

Pentecost – 19th May 2024

Next Sunday is Pentecost Sunday – Churches across Bradford are holding a wonderful public act of witness in City Park in the afternoon.  We will have a 10.30 Communion Service but no Children’s Work, no sermon and no tea and coffee afterwards!  Please prioritise the event in the afternoon over our morning service.  We will meet right in front of the Town Hall.

Giving

There are many in our parish who regularly give to the church through a Direct Debit to our bank account. If you do – firstly thank you so much for your generosity! As we mentioned in the APCM it would be a great help if you transferred across to using the Parish Giving Scheme. As charity rules, tax claims etc become more complicated it is increasingly becoming a big task to claim back the 20% we can get on top of your gift. Joining the Parish Giving Scheme makes it all so much easier for us – and easier for you too!

Also don’t forget that if you give on the card machine as long as your gift is £30 or under we can claim 25% back on that too!
