Palm Sunday Service

As is now usual we’ll be streaming a service at 10.30am on Palm Sunday so we can watch it ‘together’.

It will be more of an All Age feel so make sure the kids are up in time. We’re planning something for Maundy Thursday and Good Friday (more information is on it’s way) as well as another Communion service on Easter Sunday at 10.30am

As usual all videos are on our Youtube Channel
https://bit.ly/GHMVideo

On Saturday 4th April we should be on Mark Chapter 8 in our reading along together.
As we read ask the questions:
• What does this story tell me about God?
• What does this story tell me about people (or myself)?
• If this is God’s word for my life how will I obey it?
• Who am I going to tell?

Coronavirus Lockdown Update

As a Church we continue to be in regular contact with each other and we continue to pray for each other. Of course vulnerable are also still top of our agenda at difficult times.

We hope many of you managed to see our Livestream of the service last Sunday. We’re trying a different method this Sunday but will still be showing at 10.30 Sunday morning 29th March on our Youtube Channel. We won’t share the link yet – because last time that caused tech trouble. It will be very clear on the Channel. Our 5th Sunday’s have been healing services in recent times. It seems appropriate to continue that as we pray for healing in our nation.

Many are in contact on WhatsApp and social media. If you’re not on yet and wish you were – now might be a good time! Happy to help with anything techincal if you Contact Us

Lighting a Candle and putting it in your window at 7pm each day is also a good way to know you’re not alone. Many of us are doing that too.

Donations to the Ark Charity Shop

The Ark Charity Shop is currently running very short on donations, very little has been donated in the last few weeks which is beginning to impact sales.

We have a lot of children’s clothing but we need ladies and men’s clothing, shoes, handbags, bric-a-brac, toys, household linen (not duvets or pillows), jewellery and anything that is in good saleable condition.

Hope you can help.
