Sunday 2nd October 2022 – International Service: Faith like a Mustard Seed

This Sunday we have our International Communion service at St Paul’s as we continue to think about the stories Jesus told.

We’ll be thinking about having faith like a mustard seed, and you can find the Bible passage in Luke 17:5-10.

Live stream for our service will be available via this link – https://linktr.ee/ParishofGHM

Parish Forum – some of you may have a Parish Forum in your diaries for the 8th October 2022.  We are going to postpone this meeting until we have something a little more exciting to talk about.  Watch this space!!
This week we unveiled our final two community art projects at St Barnabas and St Martins! Thank you to Cecil Green Arts who have been working with us to create them!  Scroll down to have a look.
They are based on the ‘sprites’ in our Logo.  Now we’re wondering about how to bring them all together to dance around like this!  Ideas welcome!?!?

Fountain’s Church are delighted to be hosting ‘Riding Lights – My Place’ on Wednesday 25th May on behalf of Bradford Churches. There is no charge for the tickets but we will be asking people to donate if they are able (usual cost is £10 per ticket).

WHAT’S THE STORY OF MY PLACE?

Both entertaining and thought-provoking, My Place follows the stories of four children in care. An individual child, a pair of siblings and an unaccompanied child refugee. They have different backgrounds and journeys, brought to life through a range of colourful story-telling techniques, including song and spoken word. Each story highlights the need for all vulnerable children to have a safe, stable and loving home where they can thrive.

WHO ARE HOME FOR GOOD?

Home for Good is a charity that exists to find a home for every child who needs one. We hope to inspire and equip individuals and families to open their homes and hearts to children and teenagers through fostering, adoption and supported lodgings. We also resource churches to be a welcoming and supportive community for all families who care for vulnerable children and advocate on their behalf at all levels of government. Home for Good is thrilled to have this opportunity to join with Riding Lights in presenting My Place.
